1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Momentum IQ ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to comply with them and all applicable laws of India.

2. Service Description

Momentum IQ is a strategy backtesting and research platform for Indian financial markets. We provide historical data, backtesting infrastructure, analytics tools, and educational content. Momentum IQ is a research and simulation tool only — we do not provide investment advice, portfolio management, or brokerage services.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@momentumiq.in of any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are inactive for extended periods, or are found to be associated with fraudulent activity.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of SEBI regulations
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our data, content, or results without written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack any part of the platform
• Use automated bots or scripts to access the platform beyond normal use
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload malicious code or interfere with platform security

5. Data & Accuracy

Historical market data provided on Momentum IQ is sourced from NSE/BSE official feeds and third-party data providers. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that data is complete, error-free, or up to date. You should independently verify any data before making financial decisions.

We are not responsible for losses arising from data inaccuracies, system downtime, or backtesting errors.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Momentum IQ — including software, design, data visualisations, text, and branding — is owned by Momentum IQ or its licensors and is protected under Indian copyright law. You may not reproduce or redistribute any content without prior written consent.

Your own strategies and backtest configurations remain your intellectual property. By using the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store your data to provide the service.

7. Payments & Plans

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Razorpay. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable taxes. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from the Profile page. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases and your data may be deleted after 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Momentum IQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including loss of profits, loss of data, or financial losses arising from your use of the platform.

Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
